The CVR MLS team frequently receives requests from buyer agents whose clients, now the new owners of a property, want the interior listing photos removed from public view.

Thanks to our Media Privacy tool, we are able to honor this request, while preserving the integrity of the listing photo portfolio within the MLS so it remains as valuable data for our CVR MLS users.

  • If the listing has not yet been moved to a closed status in the MLS, buyer agents should reach out to the listing agent directly to ask about initiating the Media Privacy feature for their clients.  Usually, a front, exterior view is selected.
  • If the listing has already been closed in the MLS, please contact us at [email protected] and copy the listing agent.  CVR MLS will reach out to the listing agent as a courtesy, so including the agent on your request will help expedite our resolution time.

If you’re not familiar with our Media Privacy tool, check out this article, which provides details on its function and how listing agents can invoke this feature in the MLS.

A word of caution:  once Media Privacy is initiated, it can not be turned off.  You can change which picture will be your public facing photo, but you can’t “undo” the privacy feature.

If you have questions media privacy, please contact us at [email protected]
