To assign a Sentrilock Lockbox to one of your listings from Matrix:
- Go to Input in Matrix
- Choose the listing you will assign the lockbox to.
- Under Modify Listing, click Assign a Sentrilock Lockbox.
- Set the lockbox type to Sentrilock then choose the serial number from your list of lockboxes.
- Click done to finalize the change.
To assign the lockbox from the SentriKey mobile app:
- Tap My Lockboxes
- Tap Assign/Unassign Property.
- Choose which lockbox you want to assign.
- Choose the property you will assign the lockbox to.
- Confirm the On Listing Since date.
- Tap Assign To Property

If you are using a lockbox, you’ll need to add the lockbox serial number and assign the lockbox to the listing in Matrix. Once you’ve assigned the lockbox, other agents who want to show your listing can find the lockbox serial number by looking up the MLS number or the listing address. This also allows Sentrilock to keep track of who goes in and out of the listing in the access logs.
There are two ways to assign a lockbox. First, go to Input, choose the listing, then click Assign a Sentrilock Lockbox. Mark the lockbox type as Sentrilock, choose the serial number from your list of owned lockboxes. If a lockbox has already been assigned, the option to unassign it will be also available on this page. Click Done to finalize the change, and the process is complete. Making this change in Matrix will feed over to your Sentrilock account. You’ll be able to see the new assignment on the Sentrilock website or in the Sentrikey app.
Second, you can manually input a SentriLock lockbox number in the input form under the Showing Instructions tab. Then, you can assign the lockbox in your SentriKey mobile app.
In the app, click on My Lockboxes, then select Assign/Unassign Property. Click on the lockbox you would like to assign. A list of available properties will appear. Click on the one you’d like to assign. Confirm the “On Listing Since” date and then select “Assign to Property.” If you don’t see the property, you can also manually search for a property using the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the previous screen.
