April 1, 2026 – CVR MLS Updates

We’ve made several updates to our CVR MLS Rules and Matrix system to improve accuracy and clarify listing rules:

Total Finished Area Added to Historical Listings

All historical listings now include square footage data in the Total Finished Area and $/Total Finished Area fields for more complete and accurate property records.

Tiered Fine Chart Updated

The fine structure has been revised to provide a new fine tier for correctable violations. You can find the revised fine chart in on our Resource Page. 

New “Coming Soon” Relisting Rules

We’ve clarified our Coming Soon rules to ensure listing data accuracy and shortened the window for relisting a property that was previously in a Coming Soon status.  See our Coming Soon Rules for details. 

Revised 5.1.2(9):

No listing, including a listing that was once under the Coming Soon status, can revert back to the Coming Soon status. Furthermore, the listing may not be relisted in the Coming Soon status by the same listing agent or any agent within that listing agent’s brokerage unless the property has been off market for 60 days or more.
