What are the character limits for the Remarks and Agent Comment fields?

Understanding the character limits in the Remarks and Agent Comments fields helps ensure your messages remain concise, clear, and within platform guidelines.

Remarks Field

  • Character Limit: 2,048
  • Purpose: This field is visible to the public and should only include information that is descriptive of and relevant to an accurate portrayal of the listed property.  See our “Dos and Don’ts” article for some best practices. 
  • Note:  You can also provide additional details in the photo descriptions. These descriptions are included in our external data feeds and allow for an additional 512 characters (per photo) to highlight key features and updates. 

Agent Comments Field

  • Character Limit: 1,000
  • Purpose: This field is not visible to the public and includes notes and information intended for agents.
